    • Guild ID

    • Channel IDs (for specific features like logging or configuration)

    • Discord Username

    • Discord User ID

    • Configuration settings (e.g., prefixes, enabled/disabled commands, moderation settings)

    • Moderation actions performed using the bot (e.g., bans, kicks, warnings, including moderator and target user IDs)

    • Data explicitly provided by users through commands (e.g., custom command content, tags)

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

Why does Corgi need this data?

  • User Data is needed to identify users for commands, permissions, moderation actions (tracking bans, blacklists, warnings), and personalization.

  • User-Generated Data is essential for storing configurations, executing custom commands, and maintaining moderation records as requested by server administrators.

  • Data collection primarily occurs when setting up the bot, using commands, or when moderation actions involving the bot take place.

Data Security and Management

How is data stored and secured?

  • Collected data is stored securely in encrypted databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.

  • We implement industry-standard security measures (e.g., access controls, encryption at rest/transit where applicable, regular security audits) to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

  • While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

How long is data retained?

  • Guild and User Data: Retained as long as Corgi is present in the relevant Guild or until deletion is requested. Inactive server data may be periodically reviewed and potentially removed after 1 year of inactivity.

  • User-Generated Data: Configuration data is retained as long as Corgi is in the Guild. Moderation logs are typically retained according to server administrator preferences or until deletion is requested.

  • Data deletion requests are processed as described in the "Your Rights and Contact" section.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. When we transfer data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your data remains protected.

Does Corgi share my data with other third parties?

  • No, Corgi does not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as necessary to interact with the Discord API itself.
